[GHHF] Bala Samskar Kendras – Students Learned to chant and know the importance of Lingashtakam.

“Indian students should value their religious culture and of course, the classical Indian culture bears importantly on the meaning of life and values. I would not separate the two. To separate science and Indian culture would be harmful. …I don't think it is practical to keep scientific and spiritual culture separate.” Charles H. Townes. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that we are organizing about 200 Bala Samskar Kendras in eight different States in Bharat and Bangladesh. Over the last week they have organized several activities including learning the importance of chanting Lingashtakam. Teachers are helping them to chant properly. Most of the teachers taught the students to chant Lingashtakam.

Learning Lingashtaka Stotram. All the students in most of the centers are learning to chant Lingashtakam. Teachers require them to learn by heart to make sure that the children chant Lingashtakam without looking at the book. The Lingashtakam Stotram is a prayer formed of eight salutations or invocations offered to the Supreme Deity in his aspect as Linga. Linga is the universal symbol of creation and source of everything. This prayer glorifies the Shiva Linga and details its greatness. Each stanza lists the God’s glory and the benefits of worshipping the Shiva Linga. It states that the Linga is worshipped by Vishnu and Brahma as well. Always filled with peace, it destroys any suffering caused by the cycle of birth and rebirth. Shiva Lingashtakam is a prayer offered to Lord Shiva in the form of Linga (meaning symbol in Sanskrit).  The prayer is a declaration of faith, obedience, loyalty, and devotion towards Lord Shiva. Shivalinga is a symbolic representation of the creation of the Universe from the eternal play of Shiva and Shakti. Shiva Lingashtakam lists Lord Shiva’s glories and the benefits of worshipping the Shivalinga.  The holy month of Shravan (fifth month of the Hindu Calendar) is an auspicious time to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. Shiva Lingashtakam is chanted during the Shiva Puja that is performed every day during this month. Devotees chant this hymn early in the morning or in the evening, preferably during sunrise and sunset, while performing Shiva Puja in front of a Shivalinga or while remembering Lord Shiva. Chanting the Lingashtakam, or Shiva Lingashtakam, is said to have many benefits, including: •    Peace of mind •    Protection from negative energy, evils, and negative thoughts •    Good health, prosperity, and wisdom •    Positivity, confidence, and willpower •    Removal of obstacles in endeavors •    Time management •    Improved punctuality •    Reduced fear and anxiety •    Promotes a sense of inner peace and courage. •    Spiritual growth •    Enhanced concentration and mental focus. [GHHF] More than 100 pair of Shoes distributed to the needy and poor people enabling them to walk on the hot concrete streets in Bharat. Donations Requested to provide more Chappals.

GLOBAL Hindu Heritage Foundation is incredibly happy to announce that we distributed more than one hundred pairs of shoes to the poor people who cannot afford to buy. Many of them cannot afford to buy these shoes and suffer silently and walk on the streets that burn their feet. Donors: Sri Bhaskara Devata and his friend provided 100 pairs of shoes to GHHF to donate them to the needy. We thank them for their generous supply of these shoes and helping the villagers who need them.   Importance of Charity in Hinduism Charity is praised as one of the greatest virtues in Hindu Dharma. A gift that is given without any expectation of appreciation or reward is beneficial to both giver and recipient. Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says, “Charity given to a worthy person simply because it is right to give, without consideration of anything in return, at the proper time and in the proper place, is stated to be in the mode of goodness.” (17:20) Lord Rāma said to Lakshmana: "Truly it is said that what is not given by us will not be enjoyed by us in the future! "I (God) abandon that person who eats before sharing his food with others. But I never forsake that person who gives food to the hungry before eating himself. I am the Lord of all food. I take away the food of him who eats without giving; and I nurture and give food in plenty to that person who considers giving food as important as feeding himself." Skanda Purana says, “"Nyāyopārjita Walletasya daśhamānśhena dhīmataḥ, kartavyoviniyogaśhcha īśhvaraprityarthameva cha" (V7).  The verse means "From the wealth you have earned by rightful means, take out one-tenth, and as a matter of duty, give it away in charity. Dedicate your charity for the pleasure of God". It is believed that the entire life of any human being is to benefit others through his possessions, thoughts, and wisdom. Charity done with without expecting anything in return accrue good karma which will stay with the donor forever. Similarly, one who does not do good to others will incur sin.  In Mahabharata, Yaksha asked Yudhishtara, “What is the best charity?  “That which is given to a deserving person,” Yudhishtira said, “Charity must be given to a person who can put it to the best use. Only then is it virtuous.” Why donate these shoes? Donating shoes to the poor is a deserving act. These are the people who need them the most. Imagine waking up in the morning and must go to nearby shops to buy a few food items on foot and walk on the streets that were scorched by hot sun. Now imagine somebody stepping outside without any shoes. The ground feels like it’s on fire, each step sending a burning pain up your legs. This is the reality for many people. As you can see, many of them are old and middle-aged people walking on these hot streets. They expressed their appreciation for free distribution of these shoes.  Our donors feel that all of us can be part of their mission to provide chappals for the poor and help them to walk on the burning streets without fear of burning their feet. Our Pracharaks in Anantapur and Kalyandurg area have taken the responsibility of distributing these shoes to the poor. We express our appreciation to Sri Gopi Krushna Chary, Arju, Anil Kumar and Hanumanthe for distributing these shoes.  DONATIONS REQUETESD TO DISTRUBUTE SHOES Your donations are appreciated; By Zelle: ghhfusaorg@gmail.com By PayPal: savetemples.org By Check: Or you can send a check payable to GHHF, 14726 Harmony Lane, Frisco, TX 75035. " Whenever I look around me, in the vast region of Hindoo Mythology, I discover piety in the garb of allegory: and I see Morality, at every turn, blended with every tale; and, as far as I can rely on my own judgment, it appears the most complete and ample system of Moral Allegory that the world has ever produced." Assam Rescued another Hindu Girl from clutches of love jihadi. FIR lodged against two Muslim boys; Accused were arrested. (5/4) Sri Samrat Dutt, the Board of Director of GHHF is a practicing lawyer who is spending extraordinary time and resources at the expense of his own practice to ensure that Hindu girls are protected from Muslims who are constantly looking for Hindu girls to be trapped and converted. Love jihad is an Islamophobic conspiracy theory promoted by right-wing Hindutva activists. The conspiracy theory purports that Muslim men target Hindu women for conversion to Islam by means such as such as seduction, feigning love, deception, kidnapping, and marriage, as part of a broader demographic "war" by Muslims against India, and an organized international conspiracy, for domination through demographic growth and replacement. https://www.savetemples.org/post/ghhf-assam-rescued-another-hindu-girl-from-clutches-of-love-jihadi.-fir-lodged-against-two-muslim-boys-accused-were-arrested.-/1947 5. (5/7) The question of Sharia law is being discussed, as well as its possible implementation if the Congress Party wins the elections. Responding to Arnab Goswami of Republic World TV, on May 6, 2024, Amit Shah, the Minister of Home Affairs, said, "The country cannot be governed under Sharia law. Those days are gone. Now, the country will run based on UCC.” Why is Amit Shah opposed to Sharia Law? Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Since the time of the British, the Muslims of this country have been separated from Sharia and many Islamic countries have also kept away from Sharia. Even today, when there is a civil case, Muslims do not go to the ‘Qazi’ (judge according to Sharia law), but to the Court. Do they want to bring and implement Sharia law, where a thief’s hands should be cut off, a rapist should be stoned, and a traitor should be hanged at the crossroads, where no Muslim can open a savings account or take a loan.” Shah said that Shariah and Hadith should be lived. [GHHF] 34th Day of serving Water and Buttermilk for people to stave off heatwave via Chalivendralu (Water Pandals); Sponsorship Requested.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is happy to inform that we are continuing our Chalivendralu in many centers. This is the 34th day of providing Water and Buttermilk in about 20 centers where the heat wave is rampant. May of the members and friends of GHHF are sponsoring these centers to ensure that water and buttermilk are provided to the thirsty villagers and travelers.  Sponsors: We thank Manohar Maramaraj, Dipak Patel, Vishnu Percha, and Bhargava Pillalamarri for sponsoring the distribution this week. We have another SIX donors who are helping the distribution, we will recognize them as we continue the distribution in the next few weeks.    SPONSORSHIP: One can sponsor one day distribution of water and buttermilk for $116   With all the economic development, there are millions in India who cannot afford to buy a drink or even a bottle of water. Not even 0.01% has public taps to quench their thirst. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has taken up this task in about 20 centers in hour cities providing drinking water for the poor and other living beings also. Foundation believes this task to be very divine. We have witnessed so much life perishing on the streets due to scorching heat and lack of water and trying to save as many as we can. We saw many people faint on the streets as they could not get a glass of water.  Thanks to hundreds of volunteers and donors who directly or indirectly contributed to the cause. We are trying to quench the thirst of as many as possible and save a few lives at least with all your help. May God bless you all those who are helping in providing water to all living beings.  The belief that supplying water to the needy people added merit to one's life encouraged people to create water pandals and supply free drinking water to humans and animals in the country. Such practices can be seen on all days, round the year at important places especially in the temple arenas. Historically, many Temples used to arrange Water Pandals for visitors in the villages, on the side of the roadways, near Temples and so on.  Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is providing water through these Chalivendralu (Water Pandals) in different locations – Temples, offices, hospitals, MRO Office, and roadside. As many of you may be aware that we provided water in a village where the Jatara festival was taking place.  Your donations are appreciated; By Zelle: ghhfusaorg@gmail.com By PayPal: savetemples.org By Check: Or you can send a check payable to GHHF, 14726 Harmony Lane, Frisco, TX 75035. [GHHF] Remembering Mother as the Pillar and panacea for Humanity

"Where women are honored there the gods are pleased; but where they are not honored no sacred rite yields rewards," (Manu Smriti, III.56) "Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; A mother’s secret hope outlives them all." — Oliver Wendell Holmes First, we want to wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day. On this Mother’s Day, we should acknowledge the role of the mother in our religion, culture, scriptures, and in many other fields such as science, politics, philosophy, education, music, and economy. Her impeccable role in the family is recognized, her unselfish sacrifice to the family is documented, and her indomitable strength is acknowledged. She is considered the backbone of the family, a stabilizing force, and plays a vital role in preserving the family. Hindu religion has given her the highest position any religion can accord.  Matru Devo Bhava is the dictum nobody can forget. Mother is divine. It is important to remember that only Hindus worship God in the form of Divine Mother. In Hinduism we have Sri Lakshmi, goddess of wealth, Saraswati the goddess of learning and knowledge, Parvati goddess who bestows women with long married life, and Kali, the power of time and other goddesses who protected the human race from demonic forces. Women as goddesses are worshipped in all religious festivals. During Navaratri time, Devi's different manifestations are worshipped for ten days. And no function is complete without the participation of women. The social inconsistencies and injustices in the role of women did not arise from Hindu scriptures, but from the external forces that that constrained the movement of women as well as the foreign rule that forced women to take a protective role. Many Hindu scriptures accorded the highest regard and the highest status to women. Says the Manu Smriti (ii. 45): "From the point of view of reverence due, a teacher is tenfold superior to a mere lecturer, a father a hundredfold to a teacher, and a mother a thousandfold to a father." Mother is considered the pillar of the Hindu family; pinnacle of sacrifice, embodiment of love, affection, and compassion; source of inspiration and encouragement; personification of peace and harmony; foundation of strength and courage; epitome of age-old wisdom and prudence, hallmark of patience and endurance; quintessence of solace and comfort; exemplification of kindness and gentleness; reservoir of inexhaustible blessings; and personification of patience and tolerance.               How can we forget the forbearance of Mother who conceived us and carried us for nine months in her womb, suffered months of morning sickness, saw us grow day by day, fed us through the tube; allowed us to take shape as we developed backbone, skin, fingers, nails, eyelids, eyebrows, nose, ears, hands, legs, toes, heart, head, brain, and so on for nine months; and carried all the weight all these months; endured all the sounds and kicking; spent countless nights without sleep; withstood all the discomforts; and finally gave birth. How can we forget the mother’s endurance and tenacity during those nine months? In fact, the sixth-century Devi-Mahatyam says, “By you this universe is borne, by you this world is created. By you, it is protected, O Devi: It is consumed at the end. You are the Supreme Knowledge, as well as ignorance, intellect, and contemplation...” Look at what Manu Smriti says about the status of women: "From the point of view of reverence due, a teacher is tenfold superior to a mere lecturer, a father a hundredfold to a teacher, and a mother a thousandfold to a father." (II.45) "Women must be honored and adorned by their fathers, brothers, husbands and brothers-in-law, who desire their own welfare." (III, 55) " Where the female relations live in grief, the family soon wholly perishes; but that family where they are not unhappy ever prospers." (III, 57). "The houses on which female relations, not being duly honored, pronounce a curse, perish completely as if destroyed by magic." (III, 58) " Hence men who seek their own welfare should always honor women on holidays and festivals with gifts of ornaments, clothes, and dainty food."  (II, 59) In an old Shakta hymn, it is said - Striyah devah, Striyah pranah "Women are Devas, women are life itself." (Bharata Shakti - By Sir John Woodroffe p. 95). From the early Vedic times, women played vital roles in preserving Hindu heritage. They include such women as Sati, Sita, Anasuya, Arundhatee, Draupadi, Queen Kunti, Shakuntala, Maitreyi, Gargi, Madalasa, Savitri, Ahalya, and others. Many believe that simply reciting their names removes sins, and remembering their names gives invincible strength. Men and women complement each other, just like heaven and earth, lyric and melody. They are equal partners in married life. Sage Agastya tells his wife Lopamudra – “In this world, we will overcome all adversities if we two exert ourselves together.”  A wife is called Ardhaangini (‘half of oneself’), Sahadharaini (a comrade in life), Sahadharmini (an equal participant in performance of and in reaping fruits of good deeds), Pathni (the one who leads the husband through life), Dharmapathni (the one who guides the husband in dharma) and Sahadharmacharini (one who moves with the husband on the path of dharma--righteousness and duty). We call her better half. Mother is seen as the cornerstone and foundation of the family. She is considered the upholder of the family traditions and a supporter of dharma. She is considered the first Guru to her children as she provides the primary care, love, affection, compassion and moral compass. She is the one who transmits and nurtures the morals, ethics, and ideals needed to provide the foundation for the offspring. Stephen Knapp remarked, “Women in motherhood, after giving birth to a child that they have carried for nine months, is the first guru and guide of the child and, thus, of humanity. Through this means, before any child learns hatred or aggression, they first know the love of a mother who can instill the ways of forgiveness and kindness in the child. In this way, we can recognize that there is often a strong woman, either as a mother or as a wife, behind most successful men…. In exhibiting the qualities of motherhood, women must be warm and tender, strong and protective, yet also lay the foundation of discipline and the discrimination of right from wrong.” Sri Swami Vivekananda in the Position of Mother Swami Vivekananda expressed an abundant appreciation and lavish veneration to the women of Bharat, and mother was considered the solid foundation of Hindu philosophy, culture, and civilization. He respected her as the symbol of Divine Motherhood. From childhood until the end of life, Hindus always remember the sacrifices their mother made to shape their personality. He said the ideal woman in India is a mother, the mother first and the mother last. The word mother comes to the mind of Hindu motherhood, and God is called Mother. “The position of the mother is the highest in the world, as it is the one place in which to learn and exercise the greatest unselfishness. The love of God is the only love that is higher than a mother's love; all others are lower. It is the duty of the mother to think of her children first and then of herself. “ He always remembered the love and compassion of a mother toward her children. Nothing is comparable to the love of a mother toward her progeny. Children may disavow their mother, but the mother never deserts her children. Her love is color-blind and never dissipates. She gladly embraces all the miseries of her children and safeguards them against all the misfortunes. “Women as mothers are marvelous, unselfish, all suffering and ever forgiving.” In a lecture delivered in Shakespeare Club House in Pasadena, California, on January 18, 1900, Swami Vivekananda stated, “The ideal woman in India is the mother, the mother first, and the mother last. The word woman calls up to the mind of the Hindu, motherhood; and God is called Mother… To the ordinary man in India, the whole force of womanhood is concentrated in motherhood. In the Western home, the wife rules. In an Indian home, the mother rules…The name has been called holy once and forever, for what name is there which no lust can ever approach, no carnality ever come near, then the one-word mother? That is the ideal in India.” ”Swami Sivananda: “The Mother is a mysterious, indescribable power of the Supreme Being. She is the dynamic aspect of the Supreme, Transcendent Being, which is infinity, eternity, and ineffable peace, beyond the cognizance of the senses and the mind.” Francois Gautier: “Thus, in India—and it is true that it is often a paradox, as women, because of later Muslim influences, have often been relegated to the background—the feminine concept is a symbol of dynamic realization. She is the eternal Mother, who is all Wisdom, Compassion, Force, Beauty, and Perfection. In this way, Hindus have venerated the feminine element under its different manifestations since the dawn of time. Mahalakshmi, Mahakali, Mahasaraswati, Maheshwari - and even India is feminine: "Mother India." “ Bhishma gloried the Mother. According to Bhishma, nothing is superior to serving women. One who respects and serves their mother achieves great success in life. Her blessings are ever present and never evaporate, even if her children reach the oldest age possible as long as she is alive. “The mother is the panacea for all kinds of calamities. The mother's existence provides protection; the reverse deprives one of all protection. The man who, though divested of prosperity enters his house, uttering the words, "O mother!"- has not to indulge in grief. Nor does decrepitude ever assail him. A person whose mother exists, even if he happens to be possessed of sons and grandsons, and even though he is a hundred years old, in his mother's eyes, he looks like a child of two years of age. Whether the mother is able or disabled, lean or robust, the mother always protects the son. None else, according to the ordinance, is the son’s protector. Then does the son become old, then does he become stricken with grief, then does the world look empty in his eyes when he becomes deprived of his mother? There is no shelter like the mother. There is no refuge like the mother. There is no defense like the mother. There is no one so dear as the mother. For having borne him in her womb the mother is the son’s dhatri. For having been the chief cause of his birth, she is his janani. For having nursed his young limbs, she is called amva (Amma). For nursing and looking after the son she is called Sura. The mother is one’s own body.” (Santi Parva: Mokshadharma Parva; Section CCLXVI) Kunti as Mother Kunti became pregnant after Surya Deva fulfilled her wish to have a son. He promised her that she would remain a virgin after the delivery. With that promise, a boy came out of her ear; hence, he was called Karna. As the promise was fulfilled without anybody’s knowledge, she left him in Ashva River. Mother Kunti puts him in a box and, with so much agony and tears rolling down her cheeks, leaves him in the river. As a mother, she raised her eyes to the scorching Surya Deva and requested him by saying: “Watch over our son, let no evil befall him.” As the box started floating away from her, she blessed her so: “May all your paths be auspicious. May the lord of rivers guard you; may the lord of the air watch over you; may all the Gods protect you. And when I see you again one day, let me know you by your golden kavachas and kundala.” Kunti played a major role as a Mother in influencing her sons to fight the war. She advised her sons to take up arms to preserve dharma and to follow the tradition of Kashatriyas, who were responsible for protecting the people of their land. After the war ended with Pandava's victory over Kauravas, she took Vanaprastha Ashrama along with Dhritarashtra and Gandhari. Yudhisthira was shocked and said you goaded us to wage war, and why are you leaving us at this stage. Bhima also implored by saying “Why this decision to leave when you should be enjoying the riches your sons have acquired?” Her advice should be taken as a role model for all the mothers across the globe and the children to follow: “It is true, son, that I egged you on to fight for your rights when you were roaming about with empty stomachs and grief-laden hearts. Deprived of your rightful patrimony, insulted by your kinsmen, when you were living on the bread of beggary, I did goad you on to fight for your rights. You ask me, why? In order that you may not wait on your inferiors, you are veterans of war and are as noble as the gods. So that you, Yudhishthira, who are righteous and the rightful heir to the throne may not wander about in the woods. So that Bhima, who is far-famed for his prowess, may not suffer humiliation at the hands of his enemies. So that Arjuna, Indra’s son, may not drink the cup of misery. So that your dear younger brothers Nakula and Sahadeva may not know the pinch of poverty and hunger. So that Draupadi, this dear daughter of mine, may not fall prey again to vile molestation. My dear son, it was to rouse you to your own glory that I pushed you into war through the words of Vidula. I encouraged you to fight so that the noble line of the great King Pandu may not end with my sons. There is no hope or future for one who brings about the ruin of one’s family. My children, I have fully enjoyed all the royal pleasures my departed husband had earned for me. Charities without numbers have I performed. And I have sipped the soma juice in solemn sacrifice. I do not crave any enjoyment earned by my sons. I intend to reduce my body through penance and service to my elders. May your mind ever remain steadfast in righteousness; may your mind be noble: Dharme te dhīyatām buddhirmanaste mahadastu ca.” Gandhari as Mother Before the war between Pandavas and Kauravas commenced, Dhritarashtra and Gandhari counseled their children to make peace with Pandavas. There is a moral lesson to learn from Gandhari about what happens when the children go against a mother's wishes. It is obvious that the refutation of Gandhari’s advice to her sons wiped out the Kaurava family – all 100 of her sons were killed along with Karna. Gandhari then tried to correct her son, Duryodhana, by saying, “You are a fool! You never listen to wisdom that is meant for your own interest. All the elders have spoken in favor of peace, but you alone desire war, which will destroy our family. You will remember your father's words when struck dead by Bhimasena's mace.” Gandhari even advised her husband to stop the game of dice twice with no success. She even chides Dhritarashtra for not interfering while the Draupadi is being disrobed in court.  This kind of humiliation to Draupati would surely “rekindle a dead fire, topple a bridge re-built” and destroy the Kaurava dynasty. She always advised her sons with words of wisdom and motherly love for them to follow. She pleaded with them to eschew the needless war by sharing the kingdom with Pandavas. She argued that they should avoid the greedy ambition to possess the kingdom. Even Lord Krishna recognized and appreciated her dharmic counsel by saying, “You have, in the open court, repeatedly and rightly spoken words of wisdom and justice for the welfare of both the sides thirsting for war.” Before the battle on the final day, Duryodhana goes to his mother, Gandhari, seeking her blessings.  Her blessings have not blinded her motherly affection. She was on the side of dharma, when she remarked, "Listen to my words, O fool, where there is righteousness there is victory (Srunu mudha vachomyaham yato dharmastato jayah - Salya Parva 63.62). Lord Krishna even lauds Gandhari’s wisdom and the passion for her path of dharma by saying, “O the gracious Lady, there is none comparable to you in the whole world" (tat samam nasti loke sminnadya simantini shubhe - Salya Parva 63.59). Mother’s love in deep and unconditional. It is profound and unfathomable. When Gandhari realized that the war was immanent, knowing fully well that Duryodhana was not as strong as Bhima, in order to ensure success in the war, she asked her loving son Duryodhana, “Before you go into battle, son, come before me without any clothes. When I look upon your body, each part I see will become hard as a diamond, unyielding to weapons.” Feeling shy and uncomfortable to appear totally naked in front of his mother, he covered his groin and hips with leaves around his waist. The first time, she removed her blindfold after her marriage to see her son with the leaves around his waist. She was horrified to say, “Oh my son, what have you done? Now, that covered part of your body will be vulnerable to weapons. Your enemies will not fail to strike you there.” She bitterly cried and she knew that Duryodhana was destined to be killed by striking at the part that was covered with leaves. In the battle, Bhima struck Duryodhana at his hip for his ultimate death. Sri Adi Shankara Praises Mother Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada’s mother, Aryamba, was against his taking up Sanyasa and leaving the house. She finally agreed based on the promise he made to his mother that he would present near her deathbed and also he would perform the obsequies.  When he was at Sringeri, with his siddhi (powers), he realized that his mother was nearing death and reached his mother immediately and performed her funeral services. He also said there is no bad mother; it is only a bad som. At that time, he composed five slokas to reflect the pain they endure and the sacrifices mothers make for their children. First sloka gives the emotional appreciation of mother by Adi Shankara. Oh, mother mine, With clenched teeth bore thou the excruciating pain, When I was born to you, Shared thou the bed made dirty by me for a year, And thine body became thin and painful, During those nine months that you bore me, For all these in return, Oh mother dearest, I can never compensate, Even by my becoming great. On this Mother’s Day, let us all appreciate, applaud, and accolade the role of mother, her importance in rearing the children, instilling everlasting ethical values, sacrificing her life for the sake of children, guiding them through lifelong, and blessing them with incomparable love and compassion.

[GHHF] Three-Day Prana Pratishta of Maramma Goddess in Kalyandurg Concluded with Infusion of Life into Murty, offering of Maha Purnahuti and Annadanam.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has been working at the ground level, especially in the villages to ensure that the needs of Hindus are met so that we can continue to propagate and preserve our Temple culture and Sanatana Dharma. We had the opportunity to help Grama Devatas in more than 30 villages.  Sri Pandit Gopi Chary has taken the lead in coordinating the three-day Prana Pratishta program in this village. The villagers approached GHHF to help construct the Temple financially as well as conducting a three-day Prana Prathista Program as per Vedi tradition and as per the guidelines of various Puranas. Maremma temple has been newly built in NTR Colony in Kalyandurg town, in this temple, idol prana installation, kalash installation, flagpole installation programs have been done on behalf of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation organization for three days for the goddesses and the regular puja system has been adapted. Our Volunteers Arjun, Anil Kumar and Hanumantu have been helping our Chief Priest in arranging the event and securing the needed items and guiding the villagers for the event. Maramma temple has been newly built in NTR Colony in Kalyandurg town, in this temple the idol prana installation, kalash installation, flagpole installation programs have been done on behalf of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation organization for worshiping the Goddess for three days and making it suitable for regular puja.  Third day of Prana Pratishta and Conclusion        Prana Pratishta, Gaupuja, Abhishekam, Lakshminarayana Homam, Rudra swahakara Homam, Pratishta homam, Kalahomads, Maha Poornavati and Annadana programs were completed successfully during the Brahmi Muhurtam. What does ‘Pran Pratishtha’ After purification of the Murty - Maramma Image – the image is brought and installed in the sanctum sanctorum. Yantra is placed where the Murty is placed before it is installed. At an auspicious time, generally Brahma Muhurta, Murty is dressed elaborately ready for prana Pratishta. The priest recites a number of Vedic mantras appropriate for the occasion and performs certain rituals. These rituals are meant to infuse life into the Murty. That means the essence of divine force is descended into the Murthy. Once the infusion ceremony is completed as per Vedica scriptures. The Murty become divine and eligible to be worshipped as a living embodiment. Purnahuti means, "Absolute offering away of oneself". The word ‘purna’ means filled or complete, as perfect as God. It includes the offering of nine types of grains and ghee into the fire while chanting specified mantras. As per the Vedas, these mantras have the power of creating special vibrations, which creates a divine atmosphere around to fulfil one’s wish.  Purnahuti Shloka The people present in the ceremony should surrender themselves to the divine will. The "Purnahuti Shloka" is sung at the end of any religious function. The meaning of this “Purnahuti Shloka” is "I offer worship to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, also known as Nilkanth Varni. As Shrihari, together with Aksharbrahma, He is glorious. He is the God of all gods, the son of Bhakti and Dharma and has the supreme divine form".  The three-day program concluded with Andaman to all the people who attended the Prana Pratishta Ceremony. [GHHF] Illegal Church Construction was stopped by villagers by approaching the Secretary of Panchayat to follow the law.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is happy to announce that Rameswaram Villagers were able to stop the construction of illegal church. When they realized a Church being constructed in their village, they approached Sri Kollu Sreenivasa Raju to help them about the rules and regulations in the construction of Church. This church is not only violating the G. O. 376, but also violating the law that requires the construction of any religious structure to maintain 100 meters distance.  Sri Sreenivasa Raju, who has thorough knowledge about different G. Os., different Acts and even Supreme Cour decisions, was approached by the villagers. He explained all the rules and regulations, and what steps to take to see that the law is enforced. He advised them to write a letter to the Honorable Allavaram Police Station House Officer.  Following Petition was submitted to the Panchayat Secretary: A petition written by the people of N. Rameswaram Village to the Hon'ble Maha Rajashri S. Pallipalem Gram Panchayat Secretary: Chinta Janan is the person in question who is unauthorized to build a Church next to the Shiva temple which is under the Government's Endowment Department in N. Rameswaram village. The church is being built with no permission from any authorities.  All the villagers who are around the construction of the church are objecting to the construction of this church. G.O Ms No.376 Dated 29-11-2012 Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994 prohibits the construction of religious structures without the permission of the District Collector and other authorities.  Thus, the concerned authorities can remove the illegal Churches and prayer halls that were converted the residences and businesses into Churches.    We also inform them that the Supreme Court rulings on this issue. We request you to take immediate action and stop the unauthorized construction of the church, otherwise we will approach the high court to reject whatever G.O there is. The person who is building the church is coming from somewhere and is not related to Rameshwaram or Rameshwaram Gram Panchayat but is trying to create communal strife in the village by constructing a church near the Endowment Devasthanam (Shivalayam) without any permissions. Wit Respects People of N. Rameswaram village Like most of the missionaries, Chinta Jana came from Pasarlapudi village to create communal strife by building a church in an unauthorized manner, making everyone quarrel with those who asked, he is spreading the Bible in such a way as to hurt our sentiments, and he is making every effort to create communal strife here. We have complained to the Collector, RDO, MMARO, Panchayat Secretary and request them to act against those who are creating communal strife in this area and create a peaceful atmosphere. [GHHF] Assam - First Skill Development Centre is unveiled to provide opportunity to empower the youth talents needed for their future – with the help of Techno Skill Development Centre, Assam.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, Assam embraces a new beginning by starting its First SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE in Silchar. Sri Samrat Dutt is always looking for opportunities to serve the youth by providing needed skills in various fields. His efforts bore fruit after months of searching. Today we opened this Centre and Samrat Dutt, being coordinator GHHF Assam Chapter signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Gautam Nath, Proprietor and Project In-charge Techno Skill Development Centre, Assam. It’s a Govt registered Institute. Centre In charge Mr. Gautam, who oversees this Skill Development Centre at the State level, has been closely monitoring our work for the last one year. During membership drive I contacted him, and we had a long discussion on skill development issues. We were surprised to know that he already knew about Sri Samrat and the activities of GHHF. Samratji explained the vision of GHHF, Assam and its activities. We wanted to provide an alternative livelihood and income generation initiative for the Hindu youths of Assam. Our youths are totally unaware of the various Skill Development Schemes of Central Govt whereas on the other hand non-Hindus are enjoying all the benefits of these schemes.  What is the importance of Skill Development?  It is very difficult for the youth who are growing up in villages to know the kind of jobs available and the kind of training needed to succeed in life. There is a wide gap between what is taught in the schools and the skills needed to find a job in the current market.  According to the skills gap report 2019-2020 by Udemy, 82% agree that college education has not equipped them with the skills they need to succeed in today's job market; 84% say that skills are changing so rapidly that their current knowledge is becoming obsolete. Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasizes the importance of continuous skill acquisition, highlighting the rapid evolution of technology that could transform current non-existent jobs into mainstream career opportunities in the future. Spread the News. After the meeting with Mr. Gautam, Samratji appealed to all our team leaders and members to circulate this news to register the names of students in this Centre. A whopping 330 students have eagerly enrolled in our diverse array of skill development courses! At present we cannot accommodate all these. We shall start with 50 students. Acquisition of needed Equipment We procured 4 sets of Computer, 4 sets of tailoring machines. Gautam and Samrat talked to Project Manager of the Skill Development, Assam and procured 4 sets of secondhand computer sets and 4 sets of Tailoring Machines. This Centre is like a State Office of Skill Development and computer training will be given in this room that we rented and for other training we also rented a vacant space in an adjoining building.   The Courses available at this moment are listed below.  a.    Computer Training b.    Tailoring Training c.    Electrician Work Training,  d.     Plumbers Work Training. e.    Working to provide facilities of Viswakarma Yogna and Mudra Loan of Government of India to the youths of this region. e.    Handicraft, Handloom Training. Wi this training, GHHF is very much interested in equipping our Hindu youth with needed professional skills to make better living. It also contributes to national development. These skills enhance the opportunities for employment. It will in fact boost confidence and self-esteem.  Your donations are appreciated; By Zelle: ghhfusaorg@gmail.com By PayPal: savetemples.org By Check: Or you can send a check payable to GHHF, 14726 Harmony Lane, Frisco, TX 75035.
